Dear visitor, I’m glad that you are visiting my online space. Welcome 🤗Here you can find out about my current work, public talks, lecturing and past projects, too.

I am based in Helsinki, Finland and have a wide range of  professional as well as academic history at the intersection of design, technology, digital culture and science. One could say that I am a creative professional in digital culture, an investigator of the human – technology relationships, behaviours and experiences.

Currently I am working as an Experience Design Strategist at Aalto University’s IT Services. In this role, I focus on strategizing, designing, and impriving the user experience (UX) for IT Development services and tools. The main focus is to ensure that these resources are intuitive, efficient, and satisfying for various university stakeholders, including students, faculty, and administrative staff. My responsibilities involve defining the needs of Aalto-wide customers, drafting structured presentations for technical implementation, and providing consultation and service design for data analytics, machine learning, and AI-based tools.

As a scholar, my recent projects include the Cicero Learning – Brain, Learning and Technology research network at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Helsinki University, on a project called CREDU- creating novel technologies of scalable and empowering learning. In there, I was leading a work package about the relations of ethics, data, and design while researching the possibilities of using user data transparently to tailor ethical learning technology practices in existing and developing learning applications.

I am also associated with the MIT MediaLab, where I worked as a visiting scholar at the Digital Learning and Collaboration Studio in the spring 2022.

In addition, I’m finalising my PhD (exp. 2023) New Media Design with  Prof. Teemu Leinonen as my supervisor at the MediaLab at Aalto University, Finland. The topic is Contextually responsive interaction design – Adapting embodied interaction design to evolving contexts.

At Aalto University I’ve been lecturing a University-wide course called Design for the Posthuman Era – Critical explorations on the ethics of emerging technologies and I am a member of the academic nordic network – Design and Posthumainsm
